The story
In 1986, Joe Mulvey founded Classic Video Productions in a small space in Downers Grove, outside Chicago. After years in corporate finance, Joe wanted to build a service company with a comfortable atmosphere for employees and clients — one that would earn a reputation as among the most complimented in its industry.
The early work was videotape duplication for area companies like Frito-Lay and Armour Swift Eckrich. Seeing what home video meant to families, Joe soon began transferring photographs and home movies — and the company branched into wedding and event videography with great success. Both sides of the business, commercial and personal, remain to this day.
